What remains to be seen is whether Putin can continue to steer Russia towards a full blown democracy and whether the Eastern Democracy can innovate something that the Western democracies can use on their journey to decay.
A strong, democratic and fully diversified global Russian economy can benefit the entire world and especially Western democracies that have managed in the past decade to deadlock themselves on the world capital markets.
