Over the most recent years Rihanna has been featured in tantalizingly naughty, some say risqué, magazine covers and layouts for Esquire, GQ

and V Magazine. The V Magazine March 2013 shoot was steamy hot since it featured both Rihanna and Kate Moss in semi nude and nude poses inclusive of layouts suggestive of the BDSM sex lifestyle, Rihanna with crop in hand and barely attired Kate crawling on the carpet in her prêt-à-porter slinky underwear.

In the November 2013 issue of Glamour magazine Rihanna confesses "When people call me Robyn, my head just flies around because I feel like that person knows me … Robyn is who I am. Rihanna - that's an idea of who I am."

Her personal life took a turn for the Wall of Weird when she split up with

her boyfriend, whom she confessed assaulted her at their apartment and took a restraining order against him in 2011. Later she removed the restraining order. While her relationship with Chris Brown remains strained, she dutifully dates the fashion houses of Armani and Balmain. Heavily courted by the paparazzi, Fenton's fashion sense is diverse, at times casual or upscale.

She skillfully blends Reggae with electro pop, techno and swirls of R&B. Most of Rihanna's songs have a distinct piano opening or playing the entire song although electronic and synth riffs take over. Unapologetic has a mix of styles, with What Now shining through.
