Some critics have chosen the label outré to describe her style (meaning outrageous or flamboyantly provocative).
Her career kicked off when she met Vince Herbert from Inter- scope and he signed her to Streamline Records in 2007, by then Stefani Germanotta (her real name) had already met Lady Starlight (a fellow musician) who helped her become the class act vamp of this decade while tooling their materials and touring the New York bar scene.
